Richard Mistichelli
Registered Pharmacist, Pharmacist-In-Charge
After graduating from Rutgers School of Pharmacy, Richard, also known as “Rich,” began practicing at Liss Pharmacy in 1999. Rich actively oversees all Liss Pharmacy operations and leads a dedicated staff that is built upon hard work ethic and individual patient care. Today, Rich carries the Liss Pharmacy spirit by putting patients and community first.
Matthew Parisi
Registered Pharmacist
A graduate of Rutgers School of Pharmacy, Matthew Parisi became the owner of Liss Pharmacy in 1974. Matthew has continued to operate Liss Pharmacy as an independent and family-run business, reflecting values of friendship and trust with local patients. Although retired, Matthew remains active in the pharmacy operations and supports the Newark, NJ community while furthering his relationships with the store’s loyal customers and their families.
Mario Puorro
Store Manager
Mario began working with Liss Pharmacy as a young part-time employee in 1980. Mario went on to graduate from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Finance. Mario his knowledge and experience in customer relations back to his hometown of Newark, managing the operations of Liss Pharmacy and specializing in Durable Medical Equipment. As a community figure, Mario serves as Director of the Board of Mt. Prospect Authority.
Ralph Hernandez
Registered Pharmacist
Ralph is a graduate of the Long Island University College of Pharmacy and has been a registered pharmacist in Newark and Elizabeth for over 30 years. Ralph joined the Liss Pharmacy family in 2006, adding a wealth of experience and personal patient care to the staff.
Louis Ruales
Registered Pharmacist, PharmD
In 2006, Louis graduated from Long Island University College of Pharmacy as a Doctor of Pharmacy. Louis has been practicing at Liss Pharmacy since 2007 and is one of our bilingual pharmacists, assisting the local community’s Spanish speaking customers.
Mohamed Nasser
Registered Pharmacist, PharmD
Mohamed Nasser graduated from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University in 2013. Mohamed first joined Liss as a pharmacy extern and completed a 5 week rotation in community pharmacy (as part of his 6th year of pharmacy school). In 2014, Mohamed officially began working at Liss! Mohamed is fluent in English, Spanish and Arabic, and is dedicated to providing great patient care.
Julissa Soto
Consumer Engagement Manager
Julissa has been with Liss Pharmacy since 2014, and is the go-to for all customer service concerns. Julissa’s outgoing and kind-hearted personality creates a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Her diverse skill set derives from for-profit and nonprofit work experience. Count on Julissa for all event planning and community outreach needs.
Jenny Dumenigo
Pharmacy Technician
Jenny has been a pharmacy technician at Liss Pharmacy for more than 20 years. Her vast experience helps her navigate insurance struggles and resolve prescription issues promptly, going above and beyond for her patients’ needs. Jenny is committed to the growth of the Liss Pharmacy family and the community.
Nicole Barreto
Pharmacy Technician
Nicole first joined the Liss Pharmacy family while attending Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Newark. Nicole, lifetime resident of Newark and devoted community member, has been a pharmacy technician for over 10 years. “Nikki”, as our local patients know her, strives to continuously enhance individual patient care.
Lisandra Lorenzo
Pharmacy Technician
Lisandra is a well-experienced pharmacy technician and has worked in the field for over 10 years. Liss Pharmacy welcomed Lisandra to the family back in 2006. Lisandra’s knowledge and skill set enables her to be an excellent trainer to pharmacy interns and externs, and newly hired pharmacy technicians. Lisandra also supports her local community by providing patients with information on their medications and answering any health concerns.
Tracey Perez
Pharmacy Technician
Tracey first joined the Liss Pharmacy team in 2007 as a cashier. While working in customer service, Tracey also observed and learned the everyday skills and techniques of a pharmacy technician. Today, Tracey is a registered Pharmacy Technician and administers quality service with her willingness to assist and engage in individualized patient care.
Miriam Trujillo
Pharmacy Technician
Miriam has devoted her work to the pharmacy field for over 30 years, beginning as a pharmacy technician in 1985. For the past 10 years, Miriam has brought her professional experience and Spanish interpretation skills to Liss Pharmacy, assisting patients with their questions on prescriptions.
Wanda Gonzalez
Medical Equipment Specialist
Wanda had worked in medical equipment billing for over 10 years before she joined the Liss Pharmacy team in 2009. Wanda, a graduate of the Hudson County School of Technology, is remarkably experienced in selecting the right surgical supplies tracking down specialty products. Wanda is fluent in both English and Spanish, enabling her to easily communicate with patients and attend to their medical equipment needs.
Dania Sanchez
Floor Manager/Customer Service
Dania has been a great addition to Liss Pharmacy for over 10 years and always conscious of customer and patient demands. Dania’s communication and leadership skills allow her to easily train new employees. Her extensive knowledge on new and existing health, beauty and Spanish products keeps Liss Pharmacy well stocked with the highest quality specialty and retail items.
Madeline Bosque
Ethnic Products & Fragrances/Customer Service
Madeline has worked with Liss Pharmacy for over 10 years. She continuously applies her heightened knowledge of ethnic and personal care products to her customer services. Liss Pharmacy visitors consider Madeline the go-to for fragrances, beauty merchandise, and international ethnic items, and always trust her to have their best interest at heart.
Sergio Arce
Delivery Driver/Customer Service
Sergio has worked at Liss Pharmacy for over 10 years. He helps complete daily orders from our wholesalers and oversees all of Liss Pharmacy deliveries. Sergio travels to our patients in Newark, Bloomfield, Montclair, Belleville, Elizabeth and surrounding areas. If you cannot come into the store for your medications or retail items, Sergio will be more than happy to bring them to your door.
